Set of 20 Titanium Retainers - 12 x Intake + 8 x Exhaust
These are a direct replacement for the original steel retainers of the 1989+ FZR 1000 EXUP and Thunderace.
Does not fit earlier FZR 1000 Genesis engines.
 
Made of best grade titanium - Grade 5.
 
The original intake retainers weight 4.6g and the titanium retainers weight 2,5g, 45% lighter.

The original exhaust retainers weight 6.0g and the titanium retainers weight 3,8g, 37% lighter.

These retainers have a smaller profile/height (0,5mm shorter) to allow for more valve lift without contact with the oil seal and without requiring valve guide modifications.

Using lightweight titanium retainers allows for more aggressive camshaft profiles (lift and duration) without losing control of the valve and increased rpm limits - a must for any performance / race engine.
