These are a direct replacement for the original steel retainers on the:
Honda CBR1000RR (2017 - 2024)
 
The original intake retainers weight 7.1g and the ABUSO titanium retainers weight only 4.6g.
The original exhaust retainers weight 6.7g and the ABUSO titanium retainers weight only 4.5g.
 
These retainers have a smaller profile/height (0,75mm mm shorter) to allow for more valve lift without contact with the oil seal and without requiring valve guide modifications.
 
Using lightweight titanium retainers allows for more aggressive camshaft profiles (lift and duration) without losing control of the valve and increased rpm limits - a must for any performance / race engine.
