This Flex Hone tool from ABUSO is the perfect solution for  improving the internal surface finish of small bores with its 240Grit Silicon Carbide abrasive material.
When used in valve guides it can remove a small amount of material (normally maximum is 0,001" or 0,03mm) in order to attain the desired valve to guide clearance.
 
Available in Diameters from 4,0mm to 10,0mm. The Diameter you select is the nominal bore size in which the tool is to operate, the actual Flex Hone is larger than this diameter in order to create a soft cutting action as it rotates.
 
These Ball Hones are compatible with mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron and bronze alloys making them compatible with all common valve guide materials (Cast Iron and Bronze Alloys)
 
All our Flex Hones are 200mm long.
 
Flex Hones always require the use of a lubricant.
